I've said i tried it 3 times and it wants to place another hold. There are over 8,500 complaints at BBB. There was also a class action suit that awarded 3.4 million

I am simply amazed at all the grammatical errors I see, not just on this forum but others. The public is becoming a nation of grammatical illiterates.

I link my PayPal account to a credit card and credit union account for backup. I’ve bought and sold without issue. On a side note, whenever I receive payment, I immediately transfer the funds to the CU account. Else PayPal by default will use your PayPal funds for purchases rather than the normal designated Credit card or CU/bank account.

A good number of years ago Paypal stiffed me out of $50 and I got nowhere with them. So bye bye Paypal forever.

I am not a seller, I do all my buying thru Pay Pal for years and have never had a problem with them. I know that as a seller they will withhold your money for a couple of weeks in case the buyer, for any reason, changes their mind about the purchase and wants their
money back.

I JUST GOT MY $100. on a bad deal. Paypal been good for ne for over 10 years I buy over a $1,000 a years.

I have never had any problems with Paypal as a buyer or seller. I have dealt with them for years now and make it a practice to only pay with Paypal as they are great at helping if you have a problem. Sorry about your problem, but it doesn't sound like you have a linked bank account before the transaction. I have never heard of receiving cash at WalMart from a Paypal account. I can definitely see how that might send up red flags. I hope you can resolve your issue soon. Good Luck.

I had a bank account linked and they don't do buisness with my bank any longer. They didn't tell me until the transfer of funds was complete. Paypal has always done buisness with walmart. Many people use walmart to get cash thru paypal. Just for your information, so I'm clear I sold a camera and they put a hold on my funds. After 14 days and providing paypal with 12 documents to prove again who I was they released my hold. The next day when I went to get cash they placed a 72 hr hold on my money again. Wow, so I went home and added another bank card to my account. They processed it and said all was good. So, i sent 5.00 to a friend to see if that would work and it went thru fine. Now comes more fun. I tried to transfer the balance to the bank card and they placed another 72 hrs hold on my funds.

Got stung once 10 years ago. There is nothing I need that bad that I would Use PayPal even if it is the only option. Life is to short for crab like that. Hope you get your money.
