Has anyone had trouble with paypal. I recently sold a d610 with uhh. They have held my money for 15 days. After 14 days they released the hold. I went to walmart to get cash to find out there was another hold. Called and 1st was told they had to verify the funds? They had been in account for 14 days. I called again and this time they said when I requested cash at the store it generated a security risk. ????? Then was told it may happen again after the 72 hrs was up. Asked who could help and was told they don't know why it happens and there is no one that does. Anyone else ever have a problem with paypal. After I investigated a little there are over 8,500 complains like this at Better buisness bureau. Recommend being careful with paypal. Bryan

As a buyer I've never had a problem; their security in buying items is ideal. As a seller I don't know what there record is there but I would imagine its as good as when I buy....

I use it whenever I can as a buyer...can’t speak to the sell-side.

As a byer and seller I have never had a problem. On the buying side you can have an issue if the person has to provide the funds if they don't have a credit card set up with PayPal.

It's PayPal 's business to ruin, but it is sure continent when buying. I make sure the funds are there for my purchases.

Many businesses miss the mark and aid their own failure.

I never have a problem with Paypal, it could be that I always use a credit card when using this method of payment.

If you are new as a seller to PayPal, maybe what you went
through is "normal".

Possibly when you have made multiple PayPal sales, the system
"recognizes" you and drops the paranoia... maybe???

I went through the same headaches with the first Paypal payment I received,
years ago, however they hit my bank in about 24-48 hours now.

I would advise connecting it to a bank account. I know I was hesitant to do that at first too, but it help to prevent fraud. It is important for large purchases or sales. Paypal is getting tougher on security and I don't blame them for that.
Getting cash at Walmart surely sends up red flags.

This is how mine is, transfer your money straight to checking. On a big dollar lens sell they did hold my money for a while though.

Yes, I will never use Pay Pal again...it has been years since I first used, they will NEVER admit they are wrong. Now if I see I have option or worse yet, they say they only use Pay Pal, then I don't buy the product, I only need one time to be cheated by a group like that.

Have tried everything. It's not my 1st transaction. It's not an ebay transaction. Money now held for 16 days with no end in site. Tried to transfer to bank and no go. Was told on Sunday they have no idea why the system tagged me when I requested money at Walmart and it would probably happen when the 72 hrs is up. No one has any idea who can help. Was told that by a " specialist "

Link to a bank account. Transfer is quick, painless and easy.
