I remember that, and all of the people saying mirrorless would be cheaper because of less parts, less manufacturing cost, etc.
Nikon Z7 costs more than the D850.
The Z 50mm 1.8 S costs more than both the F-mount 50 1.8 and the 50 1.4.
When using the FTZ Adapter with F-mount lens, weight saving is negligible.
Lots of myths about everything.

Agree. I've seen some of his videos. I don't put any stock in what he says. His opinions are no more valid than any other photographer's opinions.Jared is wrong. Nikon has already announced that a D6 will be coming out. Nikon believes there's still a need for DSLR cameras.
