Gas prices in 1955

Just tried it again & this time it worked, whereas 5 minutes ago I couldn't

i was a yonker in 1955 but i do remember one of my dad's friends saying if gas keeps going up he would have to park his automobile.

When I was in high school in the 50s, I had Regular in my gas tank and Ethel in my arms. Was a good time of my life, still going strong.

I too remember those days, but let's not forget that my first job out of high school (graduated in 1964) paid $1.25 per hour. Not that I am trying to justify the raping of the public that goes on in the oil industry these days.
