Don't know about shorts and a T shirt but nothing more than a long sleeve shirt and jeans when it gets in the low 50's. We would get some pretty cold days in Louisiana on occasion. Late 80's did not get above 18 degrees for 4 straight days, a lot of pipes started to burst.

I imagine that the possibility for cold exists anywhere but Louisiana wasn't built with sub-freezing temperatures in mind.

When our oldest son was in college he would hang out with a friend that was part of the Ren Fair in Larkspur, Colorado. Eventually she talked him into doing it as well. Our fair is over a month long and what did I get out his experience? Not any pictures...
My wife and another son did the Ren Fair in Santa Fe a while back and no pictures from that either so thanks for posting these.
