It is a festival where people dress in period clothes and they have demonstrations of the period, blacksmiths, axe throwing, jousting, music etc.
Was pretty enjoyable except for the heat and humidity. Been to a couple back when I lived in Louisiana, first time in Florida. Louisiana had the better festival in my opinion.
