UPS is just as bad in different ways. Their latest “trick” is leaving packages on the street on top of a trash can IN THE RAIN, 500’ from my house at 8PM because they don’t want to take time to drive up the driveway (which has a turning circle at the top and is well lighted).

Maybe you will be able to brag about importing things from Mongolia.

Hah! I'm guessing you mean the package will be diverted to Mongolia before it at my front door. I sure hope not!

Oh boy! Nothing like that has happened to us - yet! Our house is only about 30 feet from the curb.

That nerdy 5th grader who lives at the end of your block has your account on his YouTube channel. It has been up there since you gave him the cheap candy last Halloween. The kid holds a grudge real good.

Jeez! You are too funny! Just to give you the down-low on my neighborhood - we're loaded with some really old people who are so technologically challenged that they have trouble figuring out flush toilets! BUT, you may be right after all. Could be the great great grandson of one of those "really old people".

Yeah, and they are raising him because their kids and the others in between are all too stoned to raise a kid - make one, yes - raise one NO!
And by the time the little nerd finishes with their house and car they will all respond to thoughts and voice commands. And the Roomba will sing and dance while doing the carpets. Macarena Line Dancing anyone?

OMG! I really needed the laughs you provided today. Unfortunately, what you say is all too true.

You are welcome, remember don't suffer from insanity-enjoy it!

Do they make Roombas for tile floors? A pair that could sing, do the Macarena and Line Dance while doing our floors would be more interesting to watch than what is on TV most of the time.

I'm with your husband on this one. If the package gets lost or stolen, then you might get some sympathy. But it didn't arrive on the expected arrival date and now for some reason we should all bring out the pitch forks and storm the gates?

Absolutely, that’s exactly what should happen. This woman may just be venting, but unless consumers hold businesses accountable for their products or service, they won’t clean up their act. Am I suppose to just keep on sending them money and hope that they deliver the package when I pay for them to do so? Maybe your ok with that, I’m not, and evidently neither is she.

2 day shipping with any major carrier is an estimate and not a guarantee. You have to pay extra for a the peace of mind of knowing exactly what day a package will arrive, and most vendors won't eat that cost to make people on a forum happy. So yes, you need to hope the package is delivered when the vendor (not you most likely) paid for the estimated date that the package is to arrive. Thanks for playing and you can resume your pitch fork mob.

Twice I’ve paid for next business day delivery, twice I’ve wait 2-3 business days for delivery. No refund. They don’t feel in the least bit responsible for the delay thanks to the vast majority, like yourself, who accept whatever they give you. No need to respond, we know what you think.

This is beginning to sound like hanging out with my dad and his friends at the Legion. Glad I don't sit around the front door waiting for something to complain about.

It’s always worse when its “my” package that gets lost in the process but I wonder what the on-time delivery stats are for the major services. I bet they’re pretty good.
