2 day shipping with any major carrier is an estimate and not a guarantee. You have to pay extra for a the peace of mind of knowing exactly what day a package will arrive, and most vendors won't eat that cost to make people on a forum happy. So yes, you need to hope the package is delivered when the vendor (not you most likely) paid for the
