Great posting. I have political oriented comments but I will not say them.

A McDonalds reopend in Columbus, OH about 5-6 weeks ago. The drive thru had 20 cars waiting. I decided to go in and order. The young man that took my order had a mask. I looked to the drive thru and kitchen and they all had mask but pulled down under the chin. Worthless!

Not saying you're wrong, but I can see where people get the idea that masks don't work or that they're not that important.

1 - The mortality rate lags infections by a month or a good bit more.

2 - Many people who recover are left with serious lingering effects.

3 - We cannot possibly know all the lingering effects or the death rate since the earliest time since a significant number of people were sickened was only 6 months.

You display a serious lack of understanding of statistics.

It's tough to count anyway when the WHOlly controlled by the chinese communist government (this is called the Wuhan Flu afterall) and the Center for Disease Creation have been "Cooking the Books" since this manufactured disease hit our shores. If they can get you all in a tizzy with poor facts and downright criminal lies about the numbers than it will be easy to get you to do anything they want.

Certainly the way I feel - I do have some strong feelings on one particular place a mask should be required - in the pharmacy - I am 82 wife of 62 yrs is quite disabled - when I go into the pharmacy to pick up her prescriptions there generally a line and at least 1/2 hr wait and there are these few folks there with no mask - now just how ignorant is that - a place where one can catch it - give it to someone who is quite vulnerable/sick already or like myself take it home to an ill family member.

Excellent reply. It’s becoming apparent that, for way too many, reasoning power stops short when it runs into personal bias.

Exactly! I'm 74 and my wife is 82 and both in relatively good health but for mild COPD. We are quite vulnerable. Architect1776 says we're on our own and should "hide in the basement so he doesn't have to wear a mask..."

Sad, isn't it?

I respect everyone's right to wear or not wear a mask, I also choose not to berate people over their personal choice.
America offers us many freedoms, Architect1776 I THANK YOU for your service to help preserve those freedoms.
We can debate all day if the mask is effective enough to make enough of a difference, we can all get shit off the internet to prove our point. I'll choose to trust my Personal Dr that has kept me pretty damn healthy for many years over what our government or the Internet says.

Actually, most of them are perfect parallels. It's you that failed Logic. I respect your service, your sacrifice and consider you a far better than average photographer, but, you are reckless, self absorbed and dangerous.

Then why does one of your gods you worship, Fauci, go to a baseball game and NOT wear a mask and NOT social distance while he yucks it up with his buddies?
I guess masks are only needed for the uneducated stupid people.
PS the virus can go through your silly cloth mask as if it were not even there. It is so much smaller than the spaces in the mask.
Why not require goggles as the virus can be introduced by way of the eye openings? Guess in all your brilliance you did not think of that.
Why is the lib example of medical and social perfection fully open and never shut down, yet doing just fine?
Let us follow the example of Sweden as the idiot libs have been touting for years now.
Oh yes, we cannot do as they have done successfully as it does not fit the elite/so called educated scum here narrative.
Libs change their stories and lies by the hour.

Sweden never closed; they relied on their people to be sensible. They now have more cases/deaths per capita than the nordic countries that closed down Get your facts straight. I'm no liberal, but, I also don't have my head up my butt.

The stupidity of this post shows just how so many people are ignoring facts and common sense - the government Drs., your personal Drs. are all telling you to do something for your own good health and the health of folks around you -It's not a violation of your rights it is for everyone's health.
