That, plus I honor the "Mask required for Entry." signs, which is most places.

Read an article yesterday that bemoans the loss of empathy. Good to know it is still alive and well.

I just saw a small portion of John Oliver's show talking about masks and conspiracy theories. He can get vulgar at times. But, he also covers many subjects that seem to be forgotten by the traditional news media.

His story about conspiracy theories showed a man in his 20s-30s talking about wearing a mask as somehow triggering the immune response within your body to give you Covid-19!!! He was a staunch advocate of not wearing masks. - Fast forward to today, and the same man is being interviewed in the hospital. He got Covid-19. He has suffered from it and his wife is nearby on a ventilator. He now is a mask advocate, saying that Covid-19 is real and everyone's responsibility - wear masks, social distance, etc.

Dear Lord, please protect us all from people eager to believe conspiracy theories, from being so self centered that I am not concerned about others, their health and lives.

I always wear a mask outside of the car and my home. I feel 'safe' in Costco and other stores now enacting a "No mask, no entry" policy. Yes, it's uncomfortable in the 90+ degree/high humidity summers of ATL. But, I do it.

There are two kinds of people that are sick or dying today. Those that didn't wear a mask, those that caught it from people that weren't wearing masks.

I'm with you on masks & everything else
Was watching what now goes for Baseball & had a thought ----

Those cardboard Fan Cut-Outs could be the strange wave of the future ---
"IF" this virus actually comes from the Cold Family -- We as humans could be stuck with it for ever & ever --------?
Even with an effective vaccine -- Which we may need to get shots of once/twice a year - after year - after year
Or at least until "they" design new & improved humans !!

kind of like --- "Brave New World"

Last month we drove to Cincinnati for our daughter’s limited wedding {total of eleven people attended}. Both ways we stopped at a “Burger King” on the North side of Indianapolis to buy lunch, which we ate in our car. We noticed that we were the only customers who wore masks when inside. Today I noticed that Indianapolis was on a list given by Dr. Birx of cities that need to improve their response. Yes, ‘masking’ does make a noticeable difference.

Now that covid-19 is here, I think it is here to stay vaccine or no vaccine. We are stuck with it.

Count me in. It isn't going to just go away so get used to it. Actually, a lot of people look better wearing a mask. I know I do.

That would only be true if wearing a mask provided absolute protection from the virus, which we know isn't true.
