I read this the other day and thought of UHH and the friends that have been made on this site.

Why do I have a variety of friends who are all so different in character? How can I get along with them all? I think that each one helps to bring out a "different" part of me.

With one of them I am polite. With another, I joke.
I sit down and talk about serious matters with one. With another I laugh a lot. I listen to one friend's problems. Then I listen to another one's advice for me.

My friends are like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. When completed, they form a treasure box. A treasure of friends! They are my friends who understand me better than I understand myself.
They're friends who support me through good days and bad.
We all pray together and for each other.

Real Age doctors tell us that friends are good for our health.
Dr. Oz calls them Vitamin's F (for Friends) and counts the benefits of friends as essential to our well being. Research shows that people in strong social circles have less risk of depression and terminal strokes.

If you enjoy Vitamins F constantly you can be up to 30 years younger than your real age. The warmth of friendship stops stress and even in your most intense moments, it decreases the chance of a cardiac arrest or stroke by 50%.

I'm so happy that I have a stock of Vitamins F!

In summary, we should value our friends and keep in touch with them. We should try to see the funny side of things and laugh together and pray for each other
in the tough moments.

Well, this story can act as a warning for people who travel under overpasses.

This story is not for the weak for heart.

I was driving home one evening just before sunset on Highway 50 in Jefferson City. There were some kids on the overpass. They were droping pieces of metal trying to break car windows.

I was driving my truck which is a 4 x 4 and has hooks on the front to attach tow ropes. As I was driving under the overpass one kid droped his piece of metal which was attached to a rope. It was dropped early and got caught in the hooks on the truck.

He must have been dropping the metal thru the cross bars of the heavy metal fence. He had the rope tied to his arm, so he could pull the metal back up to him. Well, when the rope went tight it snapped his arm off at the shoulder.

I knew something had happend because I saw the rope and felt a tug on the truck. I stopped found the arm, realized what must have happend and took the next exit to go back to the top of the over pass.

By the time I go there the police were there, but not the ambulance. The policeman took one look at me and then at the arm and arrested me.

Sorry if this upset anyone.

As we travel through our lives, there are things all day every day, that WARN us.... Some are obvious, like street signs, railroad crossings........Others become obvious as we go along. Today, use your creativity...yes, road signs are welcome, but look for the other warnings that are there..... Take a picture of a road sign, and make the warning something totally different than it was meant for. I am anxious to see what you come up with. I will be busy, but will be looking in when I can.
