Well, this story can act as a warning for people who travel under overpasses.
This story is not for the weak for heart.
I was driving home one evening just before sunset on Highway 50 in Jefferson City. There were some kids on the overpass. They were droping pieces of metal trying to break car windows.
I was driving my truck which is a 4 x 4 and has hooks on the front to attach tow ropes. As I was driving under the overpass one kid droped his piece of metal which was attached to a rope. It was dropped early and got caught in the hooks on the truck.
He must have been dropping the metal thru the cross bars of the heavy metal fence. He had the rope tied to his arm, so he could pull the metal back up to him. Well, when the rope went tight it snapped his arm off at the shoulder.
I knew something had happend because I saw the rope and felt a tug on the truck. I stopped found the arm, realized what must have happend and took the next exit to go back to the top of the over pass.
By the time I go there the police were there, but not the ambulance. The policeman took one look at me and then at the arm and arrested me.
Sorry if this upset anyone.

OK, I just saw the 'armed robbery' thing! I am the most naive 56 year old woman on the entire planet!! I guess I fell for it 'hook, line and sinker' because we had a barrage of overpass incidents in the metro Atlanta area about 2 years ago. You made it very believable which means that you are as good a storyteller as you are a photographer!
WARNING ! INDIA AHEAD. IT IS A WHOLE NEW UNIVERSE. LOOK, ACCEPT AND UNDERSTAND. IT IS 5,000 YEARS OF RECORDED HISTORY...COMING TO UNEASY TERMS WITH THE 21st CENTURY.

Mystic sage Sai Baba nestles cosily in the bole of a tree, benevolently gazing at passing vehicles
On the opposite side of the tree, someone has propped up an image of Dr BR Ambedkar, famous for drafting the Indian Constitution and converting to Buddhism in protest of the repressive caste system prevalent in India since the Later Vedic Age
Warning Do not eat cut fruit from roadside vendors unless you have acquired immunity over five millennia
Roasted yams and a fruit even I have never tasted. Sure look tasty, though ...
They've been sticking out of the pavement for months, do you reckon they're the municipality's idea of beautification ?
Kashmere Gate Metro station up ahead...
The RITZ, a very old cinema hall. It lay closed and derelict for 20 years, now it's sprung to life again.
Now the building next to it looks decidedly unhappy with the sudden development...
It looks as if it's going to come down any moment...yet I've seen it this way for years and years.
The sign says "Wall about to collapse, stay clear !" Who bothers...Sai Baba is there to handle it.

A couple ofwarnings. Had a warning this morning that summer is over...FROST!
RR, great warnings... So how do you keep, the stinky guy from spraying you when you move the trap?
What I do is usually use a 7'' high cage as the critter canot lift its tail high enough to spray however this cage is bigger and I use it for raccoons but I find a pole cat in there now and then. I cover the cage so as it cannot see outside and leave it covered for a half hour so that ti will calm down. Then I put it my truck and drive to my favourite ''dumping place'' and let it go. Been doing this for years now, have never gotten sprayed ... YET

Subroto - I have noticed many warning signs can be poorly worded.
Rufe - I am speechless. No I'm not I have a hundred questions. Why did they arrest you? Is the boy ok? Are you in the clear as far as the law is concerned? Mind numbing, I am sure you are having a very hard time dealing with this. In a way I am sure you feel responsible, but it wasn't your fault. I just don't know what else to say.....
