Why is the 1911 called Auto?
Google is your friend.
Semi auto is a self loading each time you pull the trigger it fires and reloads. Then you pull the trigger again and the operation repeats.
This is the basic simple definition.
A bolt action rifle you operate the bolt manually between shots to load either from a magazine or inset the round individually.
Fully auto operation is heavily regulated here in the USA by the federal government.

I moved to Idaho because I love the mountains, hunting fishing, clean rivers, blue skies and rural family values. My property taxes in WA State were 6,000 dollars a year as well as 10% sales tax. The governor is an Obama left wing nutcase like yours. They have implemented strict gun control and want a huge carbon tax on gasoline. Most normal people can't afford to live there anymore and don't want to. The weather sucks as well. OBTW my boss here in Idaho's name is Lamont from New York and Atlanta Georgia and one of the kindest and fair people I've ever met. Guess what, he's black and moved here for the same exact reasons I did and he loves Donald Trump. Calls him his brother New Yorker.
