If you weren't reading impaired (you might consult Lions Club, they offer a lot of help, primarily with vision though, not so much with comprehension) you would realize that Idaho interjected it several times. I merely called him on it.

Yet again you display your monumental genius. Must be a horrible CS life you live.

Have you asked SB if he can help you yet? I realize the answer is probably covered by HIPAA.

Why would I need help from one of you emotional, data-challenged progressives?????

I do note that neither of you addressed the data of the post as the emotional sway of SBs one million didn’t hit its mark.

Come on, man!!!!!!! Get some data and quit relying on your fragile, emotional, fascist-progressive dogma.

I'll take your word for it, and I won't imply that it reflects poorly on you for living there. (That is what the potato head was trying to do) We all have reasons for living where we do. Yours are your business unless you wish to share them. You name an area and there are probably pluses and minuses to living there. A friend of mine was working in Chicago for a while. His company was flying him home to Oakland every 2 weeks. He absolutely hated it, but he wasn't really living there so I don't know how valid his feelings were. I'd probably like New Mexico better. I know I've made jokes about nothing to do but watch the street light, but I kind of like that. I'd probably want to watch who I discussed politics with, but I try not to annoy others (this place is an exception) with unsolicited opinions anyway. I've been to Carlsbad, but it was in the 60s.

Thom,

It’s interesting in that Chicago is near the top of post industrial cities in the world with the EXCEPTION of the violence. I know you don’t want to hear it, but progressive Dem policies an Chiraq have continually and consistently been dragging it down (especially over the past 8-10years).

The architecture here is outstanding, the cost structure is okay (was once outstanding but the taxes of recent years and the unrecorded pension liabilities will bury it!), there is lots of water and lots of jobs.

Did I mention the violence and the fact that the leadership structure refuses to address it with reasonable policies and procedures, resulting in passive/fetal policing? Hey, did I mention that the overwhelming amount of the violence is non-police black-on-Black and the progressive Dem power structure appears fine with that?

Santa Fe is waaay smaller, has all the problems of any town/city with the advantages of being very diverse and a state capital, which helps assure better money and job flow. Taxes are decent and real estate taxes are free versus much of the U.S. and there is much more to do then those outside are aware of, such as many skiing locations, museums, universities, world class opera, art, restaurants, etc. Of course, NM is on the whole quite poor.

You know, I’m oft puzzled by the lack of analysis by you guys......I voluntarily live in two of the most progressive cities in America (take San Fran out of the mix and Santa Fe might be #1, while Chiraq is on any list of the top 10), yet you all insist I’m a right wing republican......interesting.

Wild hogs taste great if you know how to season and cook them.

Trying smoking carp. If anything, you can have fun feeding it to your cats and dogs.
