...and while you're waiting in the waiting room, you're picking up a "new sickness" to take home with you and give to Vic. And it goes round and round. And, of course, it takes 2-3 days to show up and another 2 weeks for another appointment.

Thanks Tom and Alby for the suggestions on how to keep the deer away. Will try the red pepper AND Liquid Fence. (I checked on it and Amazon sells it.) I even like the name, Liquid FENCE. When I lived in Connecticut, I had a friend who had a large piece of property and was bothered by the deer. So he put up a fence. But deer do jump over fences. However, he was told that you have to lean the fence away from the deer (towards the property) because deer don't want to jump when they can't gauge exactly how far they have to jump to clear something. It worked for him, but it's not practical for my garden. -- Jackie
