Very nice indeed. By the way I tried your scallop recipe and I liked it a lot. Thanks....Rich

They should really be on their way by now, Angela. Not even little buds starting to form? I hope you get something going soon.
I was lucky and managed to get hundreds of blooms on one bush on one bush.

You are lucky...
I just checked mine, 6 bushes and nothing is happening 🙁

Jackie. we use Liquid Fence... lots of daylilies hostas and hygrangeas.... start early before buds, be diligent. they hit my very small blue hostas and then i started spraying.... once they know they don't taste good any longer, i only spray about every 10 days + or - depending on rain. seems to work for me, and we live in the very rural area and have lots of deer.... hope this helps

Thank you, Donna. I leave them all on until they disappear on their own or I might clip a few for a fall arrangement. They are really abundant this year. They're one of my favorites to photograph.
P.S. You had Whooping Cough? I didn't realize adults could get it. Is there a vaccine one could take for it? It dragged along for a good while, huh?

Really not sure what I've had, Tom. It was the strangest bronchitis I've ever had and has lasted the longest. Vic had it first, and we later found out from our dentist that it's something 'going around' and making people sick for weeks at a time. I'm still hacking away but feel much better. Oh, and yes, you can still get whooping cough as an adult even if you've had the vaccination as a child. The effectiveness of the vaccine wears off. Lovely thought, huh?

LOL. Yes, quite lovely! Now that I'm in my retirement years, I've never had so many doctors and office visits. Seems like every month there's another appointment. Also, I feel like a pin cushion with all the shots one has to get every year. I never got that many in the Navy. LOL
I'm glad your ailment seems to be on the wane.

Thanks so much, Tom, and have you noticed it's almost impossible to get an appt when you're actually sick? All appts are taken up by well folks not leaving an open for the ill. You have to project ahead when you might be sick so you can make an appt in advance.
