I enjoyed both posts, but the rust in the windows shows better in the color set.

A great set. I like #2. Like the way the water tower and the clouds interact with each other. Mahalo for sharing.

Thanks, Mike! I agree that the rust is lost in B&W and that warm color is really beautiful and adds to the window shots.

Thank you, JoAnne. That is a very tall cabbage palm growing by the water tower, too! It's funny about the clouds. In the pictures the sky is only a little cloudy but it had just finished raining for a few minutes and was still sprinkling.

Carol, there is another derelict Citrus plant in Titusville. All of the processing is moving away. I am not sure where it is being done now. Those old plants are interesting subjects, but inherently dangerous to go inside, as rotting timbers and rusted skeletons abound. Interesting captures Carol.

I like the color as much as the B&W versions, Carol. My favorite is the last one of the window.

It is a sad situation, isn’t it, Jan? The citrus production that is left is endangered and will probably be gone in just a few years. I’ll do a search and see if I can find the Titusville facility. We are over that way frequently.

Thank you, CathyAnn. The windows are one of the main reasons I wanted to post the color shots! The rusty color is very appealing I both window shots.

A best in B&W. I do know that color gives a whole different feel.

Thank you, Merry. That water tower is very photogenic. In the color version it is easier to identify the palm tree trunk and all the vines growing on it. I’m not sure which I prefer.
