You said "
if we ban ALL GUNS, gun deaths will completely stop as well!"
And I said...
We banned alcohol. Did that stop people from drinking? We ban drugs, again has it stopped anyone from using? My god man, wake up.

Gotta ban those assault knives.

I’ll agree with one thing, DEAD IS DEAD! And yes, we will all some day be DEAD and I don’t hear anybody talking about banning living because it results in DEAD?!
Your head has gotta be about 10 feet in the sand to actually not see a differeance between accidents and premeditated MURDER! You must be desperate to keep your manhood....., I mean GUNS!!! LoL
I’m not gonna make you any smarter but if we ban cars, then yes, ALL car deaths will stop weather accidental or deliberate, because there would be no more cars.
Likewise if we ban ALL GUNS, gun deaths will completely stop as well!
Can you grasp that or do you want me to hold your hand and attempt to explain it to you???
And yes, I’m VERY sweet, thanks for the compliment!!!

You mean just like prohibition stopped all drinking. The war on drugs with billions of dollars spent, untold loss of lives and so on stopped people from using drugs. Oh wait, you must be talking about the war on smoking cigarettes because it is harmful has resulted in probably more smokers. Wait, wait, WAIT! I know. You mean like making undocumented aliens entering America literally stopped decades ago when that law was passed. Oh yeah, I got it now.
Time to wake up now. Come out of your utopian dream.

That's the OP's point. We haven't done NOTHING...we've done LOTS of wrong things.
We legal gun owners want things done...but we want things that make sense and will work.
The fact is; it's not the availability or amount of guns that is the problem. I live in West Virginia and EVERYBODY shoots, owns, loves, and carries guns of every type; pistols, revolver, shotguns, AR style, AK style...you name it.
Every 10 year old kid can and does shoot and hunt...and pretty well.
Even with this saturation of firearms we don't go around shooting each other.
We agree, SOMETHING needs to be done...but it isn't the thing that's been done so far...taking guns away from folks who aren't breaking the law isn't it.

West Virginia is #12 in the most gun deaths per capita:
12. West Virginia
Firearm deaths per 100,000 people: 17.5 per 100,000
Total firearm deaths 2016: 332 (suicides: 238, homicides: 78)
Violent crime rate: 358.1 per 100,000 (24th lowest)
Permit required to carry handgun: No (Permit to carry available, but not required to carry a handgun either openly or concealed for those 21 and over.)
Poverty rate: 17.9% (5th highest)

I see the vast majority of gun deaths are suicides. That tells me they need better mental health solutions.

Don’t just snivel, start a movement to ban cars!!!
Accidents happen you nitwit. Very few set out to kill someone with their cars, let alone themselves!
But Columbine, Sandy Hook, Parkland, Virginia Tech and the hundreds of other MASS SHOOTINGS are NOT accidents! They are deliberate murders with GUNS!!!
ARE YOU AND ALL THE TURDS HERE TOO DUMB TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE???
That’s hilariously stupid!!!
SS
You claim hundreds of mass shootings. I googled mass shootings in America since 1900 and came up with 157. That is in a period of 118 years. In the early years there maybe none to 2. While I wish there were none the numbers certainly do not total the Hundreds you claim. You are just lying to make your anti gun Liberal point.
Apparently it is you who doesn’t know the difference between lies and the truth.

Yes please, I am always looking for clueless people to hold my hand and make me feel better. And yes I am desperate to keep my manhood, oh, I mean my guns (last count twelve and likely to increase). I'm sure glad you are so psychologically astute that you can look into my deepest and darkest secrets and tell me what's wrong with me. I'm always looking for that too.
You are as wrong as you can be about what would happen when things become banned. There is a world of difference between banning things and eliminating them. How long have dangerous drugs been banned? How long was alcohol banned? Connecticut started a seizure program of the approximately 100,000 scary guns on record owned by the citizens of that state. Citizens of that state simply refused to turn their legally owned guns into the authorities. This is Connecticut! The state attorney general said it would be impossible to institute seizure actions with out starting a virtual blood bath. I wonder what would happen if the same thing was tried in Texas, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming etc. etc.? It's NOT going to happen. It's not possible and wouldn't fix anything if it did happen.
So what's your decision, are you going to come over and hold my hand? You might learn something if you did.

If that is the best you can do I would just give up now. No sense in looking even less informed than you do now.

Only the automatic ones. On the semi-autos just limit the number of strokes when the button is pressed.
