Non political question, but I think folks here can make good recommendations.

I reciently purchased a metal detector, and have been enjoying finding old farm implements, tools and other items from the past.
I purchased a detector for my grandson and would like to video his excitement when finding "treasure". In a fairly inexpensive waterproof video camera, $150 range, what brand or model would you recommend. I think it should be something fairly robust as a 10-year-old boy will also be using it to document his adventures.

Thanks in advance.

GoPro knock off? Would they be at all dependable? Where would one shop for such a thing?

If you could go $250 here is a new GoPro Hero5 with a bunch of accessories, this is a good deal and won't last long. They are great, my kid used to use them during offshore fishing trips and spear diving, very high quality video.

I would make sure you meet in public restaurant or somewhere.

With a 10-year-old Indiana Jones, I fear you are correct, and until I see how the project goes I don't wish to spend too much on the "adventure cam".

Have you checked pawnstars. I'd call Springfield. See what they got.

I think I found a Kodak Playsport Zx3 pretty reasonable on eBay, should get young DeMille started, time will tell where it goes from there. Right now I have to break the news that pirate treasure is not likely found in the Ozarks.
