My daughter's 2001 Grand Cherokee was particularly bad about that. The wiring must have been exposed more than in other vehicles. We had to replace it twice, at a cost of around $600 due to varmints chewing through it. It was the only vehicle affected, though.

Sorry but no actual help here. But another similar complaint. We had a similar neighbor that we had a complaint with animals and upon explaining to him of the problems his response was they are a living creature. So he would let them go. My response should have been but so are cockroaches and skunks living creatures but that does not mean I have to embrace them. But we have outlived him and he is gone, God rest his soul. But the new neighbors are worse?

IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. I have tried to relocate animals and that seems good for a while but they find their way back. It seems that the food here is better than elsewhere. And the problem is when they come back they bring their friends, family with them. Without a predator or some other means of control they become unstoppable. In my neck of the woods we used to not have racoons or skunks and now they are out of control. Raccoons can climb but skunks cannot but they can dig.

We had a neighbor who loves dogs. We are allowed two dogs per property but that was not enough for him so he decided to open a kennel so he could have more dogs. You weren't carrying them off far enough. Find out the range and then carry them at least 2 miles beyond their range. Then they won't come back.

If I did that I would just be giving my problem to someone else. But alas...

Still half a dozen to go as they moved in while we were in vacation last week.

Why is my pellet gun so accurate now?

I just used the army method to 'fix' my shooting. When one use a rifle one has a tendency to repeat the same wrong motion* resulting in a grouping that while tight is not dead on. You just then have to correct the line to negate the motion error... Prior to that I was 1 out 5, a low result and now I am 2 out of 3. Tree rats do not stand a chance.

* Mine was shooting two inches low to the left lower quadrant with the scope spot on. The scope is now set to two inches high on the upper right quadrant. Distance 30 feet.
