Shot and killed a tree rat from 150 + feet away with a BB gun.
That makes 5 this month. The record is 7...
Darn things are multiplying!
Great shot! You mean a pellet rifle.

I hope he means a pellet rifle. A BB gun would only sting the squirrel from that distance and would get him arrested for harassing wildlife. I also hope he will eat them now that they are dead. I wonder if he has a license.

That's surprising! You'd better pass this info along to the proper authorities.
That must be some BB gun. : )

Pellet, spring loaded, no need for license according to the police who came and visited after someone said I was firing a .22 in the yard.

So pellet not BB. Much better and easily understood now. These must not be gray squirrels which the hunter needs a license so kill and only in a designated time of the year.

I hope it wasn't this guy...
Several years ago, I had a Crossman BB/Pellet rifle. However, I only shot BB's with it. I shot squirrels on my bird feeder with it, and it killed them with one shot. It is the shock that kills them. It was only 25-30 feet away from my house to the bird feeder. I even killed a small raccoon with the same rifle.

Grab your gun and come to Chiraq........rat capital of the U.S.!
For the uninformed, Squirrels are nothing but rats with bushy tails.

You might have a similar problem I do.
Darn neighbor lady feeds the Turkeys, squirrels, deer and her Alpacas plus any other critter that comes into her 5 acres. Unfortunately that brings real rats to the property and now I'm catching about 5 a month where I never saw any rats for the last 25 years. Think we can get her to control her feedings? Nope, she loves all creatures, even ones that carry disease.
Any ideas of how to stop someone like her?
