Both a CPL and a UV for both my filter sizes. The UVs are just for protection during adverse conditions - otherwise the lens is naked most of the time (not counting the lens shade).

With all of the advances in processing programs like PS and LR, what filters do you still carry with you and use and what filters have you stopped using?

I am scaling back to just polarizing and full neutral density. Any other thoughts?

I have a polarizer, a set of NDs, a set of close-up "filters," and a skylight which I never use.

I carry 3- 1A for protection in windy (beach) situations. CPL and a filter for my wife's complaints about buying that lens.

I usually keep a UV on the lens for protection. The theory is that it degrades the image. But, I rather have something on the front I can clean with any rag handy.

Similar to BSprague I have a 10 stop ND, a CP and a 3 stop hard graduated ND

Excellent! Reminds me of a sign I saw in Google Images: "I like my country music at a loud enough volume, so I can't hear you complaining about it." >Alan

Circular Polarizer
Neutral Density 3, 5, and 7 f/stops (8X, 32X, 128X) (for outdoor videography, primarily)
UV (for high altitude work > 5000 feet)
Clear Glass (lens protection in harsh environments such as beach, welding, cooking, industrial processes)

I also have adapter rings to mount my 58mm filters on the 46mm filter ring of my macro lens. No point in owning two sets of filters.

CPO, ND and grad ND/s, filters for B&W, close-up filter and then some! Also a bunch of gels for flash! And all my lenses have UV protection filters on them!

Nature shooter, I have uv filters on all of my lenses. I use a CP filter on most of my lenses. I also keep a graduated split neutral demisty filter, a 3 and 6 stop neutral density handing to obtain slower shutter speeds.

I am still carrying a CIR-PL filter and a ND 2 stop filter. But neither one gets much use now-a-days. Depends on how lazy I am at the moment.

CPL, UVs, 10 stop ND, 10 stop graduated ND are all I have in my bag. I still have a full set of Cokins; all colors, intensities, and gradients; accessories of yesteryear.

Singh-Ray Vario-Duo 10 stop variable CPL, 3 stop graduated ND, Moose's Warm CPL, 3 stop ND. The Cokin set of similar filters got stored when I moved up to lenses with a 77mm filter ring.
