I guess I need to apologize for for approaching this thread in a manor like most of us do here. That is, as if it were a friendly conversation.
I think what folks are getting tired of is when someone posts an "off topic" reply and the whole post swings another way. Posting a question is encouraged, and for that reason any of us can start our own post. A perfect example is this thread where the OP's question @ a Nikon 750 vs 810 HAS been hijacked and we are now sharing our opinions about hasselblads! So, stick to the topic or make your own post. With the exception of a few posters (none here) I do consider all this a friendly conversation. I remember being told not to discuss politics or religion with friends. It seems that cameras need to be added as many people are vehemently loyal to their brand. That's fine, but I also find a lot of either misinformation or statements that are just dead wrong. As a Nikon user for many years and, as a professional, I have a pretty good understanding of Nikon's higher end stuff and I will, sometimes, correct obvious errors. Sometimes when I do that, I get "jumped", but that's life! I also never bad mouth another system because I just don't have the information. Finally, I am not always right!
I think I would wait the word on a post by B&H last week is the new D810 is in the pipeline. It has to be better than my D810, and the D810 is a great camera, so the D850 has to be something special.
