Why all the CRAP about Trump? You are supposedly an educator and cannot even spell the word, HEY, correctly. You spelled it HAY. Good for horses but not for the usage you put forth. You don't like the President? You have that right but keep those comments in, The Attic, please. That is where they belong.

Dennis

Educator or enviroNazi. Just asking.

I have saved a salt water soaked camera (an old Panasonic zs7 or something like that) twice by putting it in a bag of rice after taking the cards and batteries out. The batteries were gone both times, but the camera still works fine and the cards were fine. A friend saved an iphone that got soaked in saltwater that way after rinsing it out pretty well. Is putting soaked electronics in a bag of rice a myth???? In experience, it has worked for me. I can believe the hair dryer might have worked too.

OK if it makes you happy, rice is best, no global warming, earth created in a week and overtime given for in excess of 40hrs.... And Trump no Russian Quid Pro Quo!!! Relax .... No big deal

But this apparent attitude is a big deal. Nobody said rice is best; most of us could find plain uncooked rice in a matter of minutes (even if I spent most of that time locating my wife), but I would have no idea how to find a standard desiccant (in my case, maybe my wife, who is a PhD chemist would, but most don't have a chemist handy).

And the throw-away lines connecting this matter to science-deniers and Trump supporters does your reputation harm: the implication is you think rice does no good, which puts your honesty and veracity in question.

Based on this study the best thing to do is to just leave it on the counter and do nothing. And why do some people have to introduce politics into a photographic discussion. She lost Trump won. Move on, especially on this meaningless Russian issue. You are hurting both parties. which in turn hurts the American people.
