If you read the posts above you will find the answer to that question.

What software are yo using? Are you talking about video or stills? When I import to Lightroom and edit my video and stills there, then export I can tell it to export with NO exif information and it does. Works the same with video too.

Did you fly that thing somewhere that you shouldn't have? It would seem that location data in an EXIF file is pretty harmless, otherwise.

You didn't fly over a nudist kindergarten school did you? Naughty naughty.

You could fly without GPS enabled on the aircraft for future photos but being a Phantom P3A pilot there's no way in hell I'm flying without GPS.

Do you have the B4UFLY app from the FAA website? It's interesting. I intend to fly within the radius of a NFZ later today. The only reason it's designated a NFZ is a heliport that I know won't be used today. I tend to fudge with the rules a bit but I fly safely. I'm starting to do some commercial work but it seems the rules change every week. It used to be you needed to comply with the Section 333 of the code. I believe that's what it was is. I am registered with the FAA and I'm a member of the AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics )which includes great liability insurance.

How is Lightroom for video editing? I'm looking for a good video editing program for drone videos.

However it is my contention point that a horniest or recreational flier has to call the airport and tower(FAA) and as long as the tower does not say no they can fly.
If I as a commercial operator is within the airspace as shown on a sectional chart, I am required to file for a waiver which, if correctly filled out could be op to 90 days before you know if you will be able to fly.....I think they got it backward...jmho.

The AMA insurance , I believe, if you read the fine print,, is only at a AMA EVENT OR club air port for rc.

My company has 5m liability just for our drones.

The point I'm making is if you post and they see something and investigate. They can and have levied fines. That's why I wanted to find out how to remove geo tag info.

I fly as legal as I can for each flight. However nobody is perfect.

If I can't fly I also have 12, 24 and 50' push up poles or I find a nearby building and use their roof.

With up to 27500 fines and up to 3 yr jail and possible 250000 civil penalties one can't bee too careful

What type commercial work are you doing? Sounds like maybe construction sites but that's just a guess. I'm interested in doing commercial and residential real estate. I've done a few properties at no charge just to build up a portfolio. Get the property owners permission then give them a few prints and the .jpeg file to use as they wish.

So this has degraded from a simple question "how do I remove location info", a topic that might interest multiple viewers for many reasons, into a discussion of drones.

UNWATCHING NOW.

The OP was referring to drones. If you followed the thread you would see that. But since you're gone I'm wasting my time. It does bring up something that has been discussed before. Posting pics of your kids at their schools, kindergartens, etc. where any loony pervert can determine their location. Best to disable the GPS so that info is not embedded in the file.
