Thank you for that detailed and honest answer. FYI...I posted a separate topic and, do far, have not been given a good reason to look outside of LR CC for HDR.

No problem... your welcome. I think maybe if I started with CC, maybe I would prefer it now, but having used Photomatix for so long I am used to it and like it. All depends on what works best for you, what you like, and what you are doing I guess.

I'd say the difference is the hdrish look. You can't get that in LR.
