Had some unexpected company join me at the pond today!!

Thx doc. I did some looking on the web and now I'm thinking you are correct. It would b a rare occurrence for this area

Keep us posted on it's progress if it does stick around on your pond.

Let's hope that it's curiosity doesn't get it into trouble with the local wildlife, or loose dogs.

I stumbled across a dead GBH, last year that was likely killed by either an unleashed dog or a coyote.

i love your shots of that cute little heron! what a fun experience to have so much time shooting him with your camera...excellent job!!

Thank you, you did a fantastic job with the young Heron. Looks like it missed the wetlands by a bit
