I was just sitting there ready to pack it in because there was very little activity. Heard a whoosh to my right and there he was sitting on a tree limb 10 feet or so from me. All alone, no sign of a parent around. He stayed for a good half hour and then went on passed me to another tree fall further along the shoreline. I left him undisturbed, hoping that he wasn't just lost. I'll check again in the morning to see how he got along.
