1. Tried out the panorama feature. Easy-peasy!

2. The difference between grain bins and silos (Google): "Bins are vented, silver, corrugated steel structures fatter in diameter than silos."

You are capturing some great shots with your new camera. These are great, but....not sure you found spring 😉😊

Thanks for sharing the definition of the bins. I often wondered what they were excatly.

Very nice set Linda. The pano came out really well.
The rows of trees with the new growth is always a hopeful sign that spring is just around the corner.

And now that I know it is grain bins I pass whenever I go to Bombay Hook, I may just stop to take some photos.

I think you have something there, Linda in the second photo, the way the background hills repeat the silo shape, clouds, soft colors and dead on exposure for the pigeons... there's an excellent image in there...

I do love how you use those leading lines to draw us even into scenes that otherwise not have such appeal. All beautifully composed.

very nice set of photos, the panorama looks nice as well. Interested in your experience w/Lumix G7. I have the 2.8 Lumix and enjoy it a lot, very compact for travel and hiking.

Lovely set, interesting info. I'm glad you're enjoying your new camera. There's a lot to be said for lighter weight. Meanwhile we have flowers blooming here.

Viewing "In search of Spring", you must be very pleased with your new acquisition. Was the 14-140 part of the deal?
The original Lumix G1 kit lens was the 14-45 G Vario OIS, which the pundits rate sharper than the 14-42, as I have found. I obtained one by buying a used G1 with that lens. Panny replaced that lens with the 14-42 kit lens on the G2 onwards. I use the G1 with my 45-150. There is a great and inexpensive Meike speedlight (GN 32) dedicated to my G5 - might also do the G7. I can get both cameras with lenses and flash, spare batts and chargers in a pretty small bag.

These are very nice. Love the snow and the light on your photos. I live in the southeast so never see any snow.
