Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7, 14-140 mm lens. Shot in raw (except the pano), edited in PS Elements, Nik and Topaz Detail. Thanks so much for viewing!

1. Tried out the panorama feature. Easy-peasy!

2. The difference between grain bins and silos (Google): "Bins are vented, silver, corrugated steel structures fatter in diameter than silos."

Gorgeous set Linda. You got the hang of your new camera very quickly. All great but I really like #2 and the last one. I am having trouble with downloads, but I bet the pano will be awesome when I figure it out.

All great photos as usual. I like the colors in #4 & 5. Looks like there is plenty of snow yet in your part of the country. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much, Phil! Now that I know how easy the pano feature is, I'm going to have to look for closer subjects - lol. But the light on the clouds along that ridgeline was irresistible.

Thank you, Dennis! Early morning sun on the fruit boxes that I may have enhanced a skosh The red trees are true, and imagine how beautiful to see a whole orchard when there is still pristine snow along the rows. Though I really am ready for spring

I always enjoy your photos of the Yakima Valley.

A informative photo essay Linda. I'm impressed by your G7. The grain bins caught me eye right away with their patched sides and parasol roofs. Great PP on all!

Thank you, Trish! I'm very grateful for your interest. So glad you enjoyed even though there's not a texture layer among them

I appreciated the pigeons cooperating with the bins photo, though I would not have been averse to adding un-birds with one of my specialty brushes.

Looks like your search for spring was in vain, Linda, but you did find some winter treasures. LOVE the second shot in particular. The little flock of birds seems to bring warmth to a frigid scene.

Thank you so much, Donna! I've photographed that farm 4 times now, and the pigeons cooperated in 3 sessions Yes, there is still snow and today started out at about 18 degrees, but there is sunshine!

As always, a very appealing series of images Linda. It seems you have mastered that mirrorless camera very quickly. I like all of these, but there is something about #3 that makes me keep coming back to it. In that one I just like the composition, plus I actually like seeing the snow since it seems so "foreign" to me. It is about 84 deg today and we have the A/C running.

Beautiful set Linda, your images are so cool...I mean that literally. They're refreshing to view and I needed some cooling off. It's 78 degree's here today and I've been working up a sweat outdoors. Great job with your new camera.

I like all of these Linda - for different reasons. In two, I like the layered look of all the horizontal lines in the foreground and sky. Even the structures are in a row. All this is accented by the flock of birds hovering over one of the bins. I am also intrigued by number three. I think the fascination is all the lines. The rows are diagonal leading lines, the wind blade is a different diagonal, the horizon and cloud layers are horizontal lines. I even see a diagonal from the more dense row on the left to the wind blade tower. Somehow this keeps me moving and exploring!
