Thanks for sharing. I volunteer there two days a week, I feel very fortunate. That green heron has been hanging out by that pond apple tree every day. We think we have found the nest tree for the barred owls. The grebe has been around for several weeks, always close to the boardwalk. The only bird of note that you might have missed is the limpkin which has been hanging out lately at the lake. Tuesday afternoon I saw the limpkin catch and eat 4 apple snails. Your exposures are fantastic. I especially like the kingfisher, it is extraordinary. I am leading an early morning bird walk tomorrow AM. We also have free tours starting at 10:30 AM. Send your friends, it has been great this year.
Wow!! All them are so beautiful!!

What equipment?
These were all taken with A D7000 and Tamron 150-600(G1) using a monopod. I tried a technique that I learned the other day on this forum. I used manual mode with auto ISO so that I could select the fstop and shutter speed I wanted for a photo and the camera would provide an ISO for the proper exposure. I like this method and will probably use it most of the time now.
Again, I thank everyone for their comments. I never stop learning and this forum is very helpful.
