sounds like a good selection to me. i'd leave the 50 at home and take the 90mm f2.8 elmarit along with my 35mm lens. but that's just a matter of taste. i seem to keep living with the 35mm on my m6 and wonder why i have the 50 and 90. must be getting fussy in my dottage.
good luck with your trip!!!

Thanks. I find that I enjoy 35mm and 50mm the most, and prefer the 50 for environmental portraits and people. I used to bring a 90 (I also have an Elmarit, early 1960s), but use it far less.

i think your selection is perfect for your requirements. i purchased the new, small 90mm tele elmarit and while it still weighs a ton, it is smaller! lucky me.

the UK should be a lot of fun for you.

The "thin" tele-elmarit is a jewel of a lens. I think mine is about the same weight, but quite a lot more air in the thicker and longer and longer tube.

yeah, i mean, how did they do that with mine, re: weight, add a lead sinker somewhere in there? i do have to admit cheating, though, as i added the m motor to my m6. easier for me to hold and as i'm left eyed, i can keep my face smashed up to the rangefinder. i know, probably get drummed out of the leica users club! pesky purists...

I have the Sony A6000 and I really like it. My most used lenses are the inexpensive primes from Sigma, the 19mm f2.8, 30mm f2.8 and 60mm f2.8. Or right now, the body with two Sony lenses (16-50 and 55-210) is $898 on Amazon.

For that reason, I purchased the a6000 also. I got an adapter from eBay that will allow me to use my old Nikon lenses. I have the old ones with the aperture on the lens, so they work like a manual.
Gary Fong says that Sony makes an adapter that will allow your old lenses to be used as autofocus, but I don't think that I want to spend the cost for that.
