Beautifully done. Love the light on this one. One of the best hospitals in the world, but even better if you're looking from the outside in, rather than the inside out, lol.

Some trees changing in Maine, so you'll get some color up there, but a nice time of year to visit this area, and hope you'll enjoy it!

Welcome Sylvia! I hope this adventure is as wonderful as the others you have shared with us. This is an awesome shot. I looked at it and thought of all the people behind those wall. Those there in desperate need of help, others there with ailing family or friends and all the dedicated doctors, nurses and other staff working miracles every day.

Nice shot. Hope you don't have to visit Mass General, but if you do, its a great hospital.

If you have the time and are so inclined, the freedom Trail in Boston is a nice walk. Gives you a good historical perspective and lots of opportunities for camera usage. http://www.thefreedomtrail.org/

Pleased you enjoyed the shot and fortunately we did not have to visit.
We only had two days to look around and followed some of the Freedom Trail, very interesting too. Appreciate your comments thank you very much.

Welcome to Bahston! It is a fun city to visit, especially this time of year! You will be walking the "Freedom Trail" (well, you Brits might call it something different! ) - lots of history. A visit to MIT and Hahvahd campuses is interesting. If you walk through the MIT main building, ask if they still have the gallery of Harold Edgerton's photo's. He developed the strobe light for photography and pioneered stop-action photography and was an icon at MIT for many decades. He was an eclectic - as he described himself, "just a farm boy from Nebraska" - his work started with developing huge strobes for night-time aerial photography over Europe in WWII and included development of the side-scanning sonar, which he used to help in the hunt for the Loch Ness Monster. One spot I like is the Arnold Arboretum out in Jamaica Plain - reachable on the Red Line of the MTA. It is a large Olmsted-designed public garden and a beautiful spot.
