So I take it that you don't approve of the senate fullfilling their constitutional responsibilities. You would approve of a simple presidential appointment with no senate vote at all. Apparently you don't understand that If 1 precept of the constitution can be overturned, any number of them can be overturned. That woud mean NO constitution--tyranny. That is exactly the point. Do you believe in the constitution, as written, or not.
