A beautiful shot and PP.

Thanks, CathyAnn. I'm pleased you enjoyed this one. The hibiscus flowers were pretty and just cried out to have something done with them, lol. So I did! : )

Thanks for your kind words and visit, they're always very much appreciated!

Reminds me of a couple of satellite dishes searching the universe for signs of life. Shore is purdy!!

Thanks, Ray. I am beginning to suspect that the Martian may be one of the aliens we've been searching for with the SETI project. He denies it, of course. But that's just the sort of thing you'd expect him to say, if he were an alien...

Oooooh!!!

Thanks for the fun comment and visit, they're always much appreciated!

Very beautifully done, Randy!

Thanks, Sue. The flowers are really pretty! Wintered this one over, for a change, instead of letting them die, as I generally do. It's over six feet tall now, and the flowers are just about like you see in the image here. Big and bright!

Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks as always for your visit and kind words. They're much appreciated!

Thanks, Val. The Martian used to offer guided tours of his garden, but these days, he's so busy with plotting world conquest and all the attendant paperwork, he simply doesn't have the time. And of course the question of all those missing tourists last year still haunts him. The District Attorney keeps coming by with the police and wanting answers. And that gets to be a little delicate. I mean, once you plant and fertilize something, are you really responsible for what it does when it grows up? Hardly seems fair, when you do your best to raise them right...

LOL

Thanks for the kind comments and your visit, always very much appreciated!

That does not seem fair but perhaps it is better in the long run that there are no tours, at least we can still see the garden via your pictures....

Lol, there are some advantages in just seeing the photos of the garden. You don't need to carry that flame-thrower, for example. ; )

Thank you, justhercamera, and welcome to the forum! Glad to have you with us! I'm the crazy one here on UHH everyone will warn you about, with photos and stories of talking megalomaniac cats and wicked witches. In the main, I'm harmless, and on rare occasions, I'll even post a decent shot.

Pleased you enjoyed this one, and thanks very much for your kind comments and visit. It's very much appreciated!

Thank you for such a warm welcome. I have found that coming to the forum is one of the first things I want to do with "free" online time. I forgot how nice it was to be in a community of photo-artists. Based on your self-description and this photo, I will put you in the category of "wacky, warm, kind and talented" for the time being. :)

Thank you for the kind categorization, Sue. You might have left out a couple of adjectives, tho, like 'heavily medicated' and possibly 'certifiable.'

LOL

This place is addictive, and no question. Many good people to befriend, and many talented photographers to learn from. Stay out of the Attic, unless you like to fight, and check out all the sub-forums to find an area you might particularly enjoy, like Post-Processing, or HDR, or For Your Consideration. While there are a pile of them, sadly there's no forum for Wicked Witches and Crazy Cats yet, but I remain optimistic that popular clamor for such a forum will soon result in one. ; )

The stuff is still unavailable down here. Must be because they're afraid a hurricane will blow it everywhere, and we can't have that. lol Brilliant composite, Randy, and I'm sorry I'm late for the party yet again.
