One of my favorite things to do under the full moon is to put on the ol' Hazmat suit and go for a stroll in Martian's garden. You do have to go armed, of course, as there are there are strange creatures out there, not all of them shy and retiring. But on occasion, you'll even spot the Dark Ladies dancing in the moonlight, as they celebrate their rituals. That alone is worth the trip.

The Martian's garden is certainly beautiful, and I can see why you would hazard the trip.

Wow! Send me some of whatever it is you're ingesting. Appears to be good fun.

Thanks, John. The plutonium-fueled flowers are always beautiful, but being truthful, I really just go to see the Dark Ladies dance. Way better than flowers. ; )

Thanks for the kind comments and your visit, they're always much appreciated.

Thanks, Rick. Your hikes may be spectacular, but mine are positively mind-boggling, lol. I've discovered over the years that Reality is a place best avoided, and walking thru the Martian's garden is a good way to do that. ; )

Thanks for the laugh and your visit, always very much appreciated!

Thanks, Rich. This one's quite colorful, but the hibiscus flowers really aren't exaggerated. They're quite spectacular, often 6-8 inches across, and beautiful almost neon shades of yellow, orange, and pink. But who wants to see just a flower in a pot, when you can seen them in their natural setting, displayed under the moonlight in the Martian's garden? LOL

Thanks for your very kind words and visit, always appreciated, and glad you enjoyed this one.

Thanks, Angler. If you think the flowers are pretty, you should see the Dark Ladies glow while dancing in the moonlight! I'd love to get a shot of that, but the camera begins to smoke and the lens melts the moment I get them in focus! Very frustrating. Can't tell you how many lenses I've had to replace..: (

Glad you enjoyed this one, and thanks as always for the kind comments and your visit. It's much appreciated!

Fun pp. Are you glowing yet or has the suit provided adequate protection?

A place of great beauty. I've never seen a hibiscus like that at the nursery but they surely don't know how to grow them! Love the moon and stars as a backdrop for this self-illuminating garden.

Your glowing in the dark from the Martian's plutonium fertilizer certainly has paid off. I can see that you didn't even need flash. But I did not realize that you glowing even reached as far as the moon. That glowing gave a sorta back lit look to this beautiful rendering. Was it the glowing that illuminated the stars as well? At least none of the witches were in the shot, so you did not have another episode of WWACA. The saga continues
