One of my favorite things to do under the full moon is to put on the ol' Hazmat suit and go for a stroll in Martian's garden. You do have to go armed, of course, as there are there are strange creatures out there, not all of them shy and retiring. But on occasion, you'll even spot the Dark Ladies dancing in the moonlight, as they celebrate their rituals. That alone is worth the trip.

Beautiful work! Inspires me to start using more of the features my photo apps contain.

Wow, you out did yourself on that one Randy, a mystical masterpiece. Question: Where can I rent one of these Hazmat suits, like to have one on my next trip to the dahlia garden.

Thank you, Mike. A colorful one for sure, lol. Always fun doing them up. As for the Hazmat suits, we keep them in the front hall closet here in the Ministry, since we use them so often. Out your way, you might want to check into 'Hazmats 'R' Us,' that popular chain, found in nearly every mall these days. I think they rent them, along with Geiger counters. ; )

Thanks for your very kind words and visit, I'm always grateful!

That is a sizzling beauty! Gorgeous colours and I love those dancing leaves. The icing on the cake of course would be to see the Dark Ladies dancing in the moonlight.....should we watch this space? Excellent work.

Very creative Treepusher, what brand of Maui Wowee are you smoking.???

Thanks, marsdad, lol. Due to a severe brain injury when I was young, I'm now able to leap tall buildings at a single bound, and am faster than a speeding...um... Oh, wait, that's the other guy. Never mind.

Let me think--when old as I am you are, a Jedi artist will you be...? No, no, sorry, that's not it, either.

LOL

I don't know where these come from. They just do. Probably coded in directives from the Mother Ship, as my tinfoil hat often falls off while I sleep.
; )

Thanks for the laugh and your visit, it's always very much appreciated!

Great shot Treepusher, reminds me of a trip I went on back in the late 60's

There are books dedicated specifically to Gardens, probably the most famous of which is "THE SECRET GARDEN". All well and good, but as we see more of the Martian's Garden and what your lens work can do to catch it's spirit, I would recommend that while there ARE books dedicated to Gardens, what we REALLY need is an ART GALLERY with your depictions of the inhabitants (we can't just call them flowers---) of the Garden as the Gallery's first and permanent exhibit. As regards the Dark Ladies Dancing, all you need is a Loon calling and you'll be in Alfred Hitchcock's domain!!
There are books dedicated specifically to Gardens,... (show quote)

LOL!!! Thanks, Robert. I think the Dark Ladies dancing is about the pinnacle of life on Earth. Once you've seen that, there's nothing more to look forward to. God can strike you blind or even kill you outright, and you'll have no regrets. ; )

And never mind Alfred Hitchcock, I'm plenty looney all by myself!. I'm trapped in the Twilight Zone, between my megalomaniac cats and the Dark Ladies. I just hope I never find my way back out! ; )

Thanks for the kind comments and your visit, always very much appreciated!

It is more than just excellent post processing, but a special vision. Love this one.

Thanks very much, Bill. I'm pleased you enjoyed it. The flowers are real, the rest of it, not so much, lol. But fun to put these together with a little narrative to accompany them. Keeps me from worrying about encroaching dementia, since I'm already there. ; )

Thanks again for the kind words and visit, they're very much appreciated!

Thanks, Sinewsworn. Glad you enjoyed this. I started processing a few years ago because I wanted my cat photos to look a little better. It's gotten way out of hand, lol. But it's great fun, and really opens up a whole new world to you.

Thanks for your very kind words and visit, they're very much appreciated!

Thanks, Sylvia. Glad you liked it. With any luck, the hibiscus will still be blooming when you arrive here! But depends on the nighttime temps. Seeing the Dark Ladies at their dancing here on UHH seems a bit unlikely. My lenses melt soon as I get them in focus! But one never knows, and it could happen... I'm told Sony is coming out with a special new asbestos lens, for just such occasions. I've pre-ordered! ; )

Thanks for the kind words and visit, they're always very much appreciated!

Lol! Thanks, Greg. I was on that same trip, and may have possibly even bumped into you!!! 1969, right? You were the one with the beard and wearing the dashiki? I was the guy with the cigar and the paisley eyepatch (my eye was fine, I just thought the patch would score big with the ladies. It did...). Sockitome, bro! LOL

Thanks for the laugh and your visit. Always very much appreciated!
