Very appealing image: good capture with the right color/contrast balance and lighting.

These mornings have been especially beautiful as the sun rises and burns off the moisture from the night before. Photo taken off the patio. There are woods everywhere and between pastures. I never woke up to this kind of view, when I was a city-dweller. Thanks for looking in...

Did I hear you say "moisture"? Send some to me ! I love your beautiful shot and your backyard is really neat. Early mornings are the best time of day!

Very nice. Makes one wonder what else can be seen from your patio!

Thanks for stopping by, merrytexan! Always appreciate those comments!

So far, there is still a lot of dew in the mornings. The nights are still fairly cool but that will probably all stop in August! Can't wait..Not!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Always appreciate visitors! And, there are still many things that remain unseen, from the back 80 and beyond.

Hey, dennisallard, thanks for the visit and for leaving a comment! These mornings are full of moisture and sunlight, creating lots of visuals. But, things change fast, so they are easily missed.. I was lucky here. Photography is about being at the right place at the right time, with your battery charged!

Isn't it nice to live in the country?! What a beautiful photo - it says it all! (especially since you can't see the bugs!!! )

Ha!! We don't talk about Bugs! Let alone snakes, creepy crawlers, turtles and varmits like rabbits, anteaters, coons, badgers, coyotes, deer (they are great), stray cattle, and all the other things that go bump in the night! I am not worried as long as I don't run across anything that is nearly as big as I am.. Thanks for the nice comment!

What a fine backdrop you have to your home. I guess you get plenty of different birds there.

Hi, Jolly Roger! I think the bigger doves, hawks, and pigeons run off the smaller, more colorful birds. I thought about a bird feeder, but it would be the same problem. So, I rarely see pretty birds...just the flocks of the plain, ordinary ones.

Thanks for visiting and thanks for your compliment!

I fitted a bird table with a plastic garden mesh (approx. 2" square holes) that keeps the larger birds off it and the smaller ones hop through the gaps.

Something like that might work, here! Thanks for the idea! I guess you must have a lot of colorful birds?
