TheeGambler Loc: The green pastures of Northeast Texas

These mornings have been especially beautiful as the sun rises and burns off the moisture from the night before. Photo taken off the patio. There are woods everywhere and between pastures. I never woke up to this kind of view, when I was a city-dweller. Thanks for looking in...

Early mornings are the best time of day in the "dog days of Summer." At least, they are around here. Late afternoons, would give those mornings some competition, but the temperature is much hotter.. Thanks for looking in Shakey!

I hope to take a trip to mountains that are not too far away, (they call them mountains but nothing like the Rockies.) Wish it could be some place a little more exotic! Ha! But, from those "high roads" I hope to get some pleasing long shots. We are basically "flat," here locally. It is all fertile pastures and farmlands. So, "backyard trees" and morning light is a diversion! Thanks for your lovely comment!

Its a good day to be a good day! this view is perfect to go with a cup of morning coffee. What a relaxing way to start, just energizes and makes you glad you have this opportunity before taking on the rest of the day! Fantastic image!!

Carlysue, you are so right! There isn't a better way to start the day than with a good cup of coffee, while relaxing and planning the day, in the cool morning sun.. Nature awakens, birds chirping, bees buzzing, dogs scampering through the grass chasing a rabbit, the horses neighing that it is time for breakfast and saying, "what are you doing just sitting there when we are hungry!"

Thanks for your comment, always appreciated.

Beautiful shot! I maintain that when you die, good folks go to Heaven. Bad folks go to the city.

TG, I love the light rays coming through the trees! We're fortunate to have these morning views to start our day! I can't even imagine living in the cites!

I can believe that, when they bite the big cookie, bad folks and their bad dogs go to the city!

Thanks for your visit and comment!

SS said, "I can't even imagine living in the cites!"

Living in Houston for fifteen years taught me everything I need to know about big cities. Had enough of standing in lines, at places like the Post Office. Holding ticket #52, when they are calling out #8, didn't make me feel a whole lot of Happy!

SS, Thanks for stopping-by and for loving, "rays of sunshine!"

Isn't it nice to live in the country?! What a beautiful photo - it says it all! (especially since you can't see the bugs!!! )
