Really horrible wedding photography

Sad for the couple as there is nothing they can do to re-do, but from a photographer standpoint, this is hilarious.

And yet one more reason to see why I detest selective color. It is usually done wrong, but seldom THIS wrong.

I read the entire post and he had 800 pictures set to them. Unfortunately he did not pull out the bad ones. Hey 10 house and 800 pictures for $250.00 us. What more could they ask for.

I couldn't figure out how to see all the images or the entire article (unless that's all there was). But if they got 800 images, surely they had to have some that were acceptable. The photographers biggest mistake is to include those that should be weeded out on the first pass looking them over. I always weed out anything out of focus, anything with a bad background or bad expressions. With 800 images there should be some good shots. Maybe this bride is just a bridezilla and just wants to make this guy look bad for some reasons unknown to us. It has happened. A bride refuses to pay, gets sued in court, then she smears the photographer all over social media.

Like I said, the photographers mistake was not weeding out the bad photos.

Not necessarily any good shots at all in the bunch. We can make some assumptions based on the photos the photog did supply. First that he is a crap photographer with no workflow. It is highly possible they just shoot 10 poses on continuous shooting until they have 100 shots of each pose and hope they got a good one in the bunch. For all we know these may be the best of the best of his work! Why else would they go to the client?

This is exactly why I'm not afraid that Craigslist wedding photographers will put a good photographer out of business. These type articles are good to print off and hang onto for when someone complains about pricing.

I've also suggested people go look at the fauxtographer website, and explain that if that's what they want to hang on their wall, or put in an album, there are plenty of people out there willing to do it.

If they still choose the $250 wedding photographer at that point, well, I stop feeling sorry for them.

That is some of the worst spot-coloring I've ever seen.
