I shot this Crow or Raven in the grass at a large park.
I used 896mm total at about 25-30 feet. All black birds (Crows, Ravens, etc.) are hard to shoot and get good detail.

Canon 7D Mk2 - Canon 100-400 II - Canon 1.4x III - 1/125 - f/8 - ISO @ 1000.

Nice capture. Raven crow I've always had trouble telling them apart maybe this will help. http://www.allaboutbirds.org/page.aspx?pid=2501

Very high quality shot
How much PP have you done to have the details?

Thank you very much, Lightcatcher. I have about this same information, but the images are small and I would still be guessing which is which. If you throw in an immature one (which I think this is), it will add to the confusion for me.

Thank you very much, Michael. The reflection off the grass helped define some of the detail.

Thank you very much, Earnest. Crows are hard to photograph well.

Thank you, AK. I used some contrast and sharpness. The sun's reflection off the grass really helped me show some detail. So, very little PP was needed.

Great shot of what looks to be an immature raven, crows don't have the hair on the bill like this one does.
