Oh how fortunate you are! I hear these birds quite a lot but can never spot one close enough to get a shot. Excellent shots of this one!

Thank you Dixiegirl. I've only seen this one a handful of times, and never a female. Seems to be a very shy bird, so I do consider myself fortunate to get a few shots.

If a beauty like this showed up in my yard I'd be thrilled! Though he was skittish----you got great shots!

Thanks so much LakeGal. Believe me, I was thrill. In fact, he appeared and left several times before I was able to capture him. I haven't seen him in the last two days now, but still hoping he returns with his lady.
