I, too, took the plunge and got me one. $188.00 with tax. Couldn't turn it down. Haven't had much time to mess with it yet, but it looks brand new. Would never know it is refurbished. I took Friday off so have a 4 day weekend and plan on taking it out this weekend. Cheers.

Picked up a refurb a couple of weeks ago from Canon. Paid about the same.
Lots of camera in a small package.
The battery will be charged before you can begin to get a handle on all the features available.

Like you tita1948, after reading so much about this camera I decided that at the refurb price, I could no longer resist.
I am now anxiously awaiting the FedEx truck scheduled for tomorrow. :)

I know it's hard to turn down a deal like that, Almost bought a used one from Craig's List for 200.00. Glad that I didn't.😂
