My girlfriend and I took this picture today from my cell phone and would really like to enlarge it to atleast a 12x18. Would like to have it framed and would like to take next year's picture holding this picture and continue throught the years holding last years picture. Is there any way to enlarge this without losing quality and without the blurry pixelation? I have photoshop, I know there is a way to enlarge it without losing quality but not sure how to do it.

Why not. It may not be super crisp but it can be done.

See, I was thinking it could be done. I was just wanting the quality to be decent enough for a poster size. Any idea on exactly how to do this?

You could Email me the orignal and I could look at it and if it is not print quality I can add pixels (quality) to it then send it back to you and you could send it to CostCo to be printed.
The only thing is that it has to be the orignal. ( copy's loose quality).
What do you think?

That'd be great! I'd appreciate it so much. What is the email in which you would like me to send the original to?

Nice photo...and pretty girl!! I do think there's a way to blow it up. Where are you in W.Va.? My Dad went to Cabin Creek H.S. and grew up in the hills.

Look up Perfect Resize 9.

Thanks! I'm from Nicholas County, it's about 2 hours from Cabin Creek. That's awesome though. I'll have to look up the perfect resize.

Rev, welcome to the Hog.
I say just go for it. Take it to Costco and just print it, it's not very expensive there. If it comes out OK and you get brave, try going bigger.
My big, burning question, why did you make her wear that funny hat?!?!

Clevbolt, it is already large enough to be printed at 12x18.
No problem at all.
Some post processing would do it wonders to make it "pop" that little more and that bird box thingy can also be magicked off the tree to unclutter the background.
If you do not have the skills to do that yourself, I am sure someone in the post processing section would love to show you what they can do, and if you get no assistance there, drop me a PM and I will do it for you.

Yeah, I noticed the bit of clutterness. I would love for someone to show me what they can do. I'm not advanced enough to make everything look as perfect as everyone who has years of experience. I will post it there and if no one helps me out I will be sending you a message. Thank you!

With regard to enlargement and pixelation, it all depends on your cell phone. How many pixels is your phone?

Feel free to still post there in the Post Processing board.
I won't be offended.
I'm not too happy with what I have done with the white jacket.
I am sure someone else can do a better job.

I have resized image to 12x18" and added some more tree on the left to fill out the image.
The girls jumper was blown out so changed it to yellow to make it a little less blinding.

Staples can probably help you with that but be prepared for lots of grain. Cell phones are terrible for most shots above 3x5.
