That's one good thing about fresh snow -- it makes a nice background. But, that's about it.
A beach like you often use is tops.

Each is well done,Pierre, and,as said, the snow really is a wonderful background to show off their colors. I don't know how they withstand the cold temps and winds but so glad they do.

Yes the white really does work.
How they withstand the cold I think is one of the marvels of nature.
To help, we put out suet and oil seed and have an electric water warmer.

I've said it before -- this is about the only good thing about snow. At one time I loved doing snow scenes, but now that I am older it's no longer an option.
