Fair enough! Meanwhile, I would like to apologize for my misspelling of racism as "rascism". I hope that in any commotion I don't again lose my spelling abilities.

His view of the Constitution apparently wants to erase all of the amendments to the original document, which would include the the first 10 known as the Bill of Rights, and -- of course -- the abolishment of slavery, the right of women to vote, and everything to do with government regulations. When he writes "our" culture, "our" heritage, "our" traditions he really means his culture, his heritage, his traditions. I'm sure his minority group [he admits it's a minority group, but so were the Nazis when they took over Germany in 1933 with the same loud claims] believes they are justified in their prejudices. But I for one will not remain silent and let this kind of foul rhetoric pass unchallenged! My great-grandfather fought for the Union in the Civil War, together with his three brothers. I'm proud to follow in his tradition.

Richard; I reread that quote again and I guess I didn't see or understand what you are seeing, etc. I'm certainly not racist and I am a veteran as well. I also was born in Allentown, although that doesn't change anything. Just thought I would throw that in. All my family has been in the service, including my son. I do believe in the constitution and feel it is being ripped apart. I also believe that obama and his cohorts in crime are out to destroy our way of life and liberty.
I will also agree that GW didn't do everything right and some of our congress and senate, both democrat and republican, should be replaced with sensible folks who are God fearing and understand that they work for us, not us for them. We may need that before it is over. Just my 2 cents worth.

Hi, Juice! The language used in the piece called The American Dream is the same as that used by the Ku Klux Klan and the Nazi party elements here and abroad.
Just like Hitler used to do, he recites a listing of the enemies he sees as a threat, including races [Blacks and Latinos, both of whom are in the USMC and would probably like to confront him], sexes [Feminists, who helped women to enter the USMC, and Gays -- as if there are no gays in the USMC], Government Workers [including the USMC? Or just the rest of the Federal government, unless he advocates no government at all?], blue-collar workers [Union Members, which especially rankles me because my Dad and brother were union members before retiring], Environmental Extremists [any scientist who finds our weather problems are exacerbated by some of man's activities], The Media [I presume that includes both Fox and ABC TV as well as certain radio commentators], Hollywood [Charleton Heston?], uninformed young people [although some well-informed young people might find his message unacceptable], the "forever needy" [does he realize that some Republican budget-cutters consider injured vets in that group?], the chronically unemployed [like the vets suffering from PTSD?], illegal aliens [I presume he plans to pick his own apples, oranges, lettuce and tomatos], and other "fellow travelers" [a familiar term left over from Tailgunner Joe McCarthy's rants].

This lister contends that all these villains "have ended Norman Rockwell's America." Rockwell would throw a fit if he were alive and learned that he was supposed to be the sponsor of the racially-segregated, all-Caucasian, all-Christian society fantasized by this vet. One of Rockwell's paintings shows a courageous little African-American girl bravely marching past some hecklers and into a formerly segregated school. I doubt that this USMC vet will hang it on his wall.

The American Dream ended (on November 6th, 2012) in Ohio. The second term of Barack Obama will be the final nail in the coffin for the legacy of the white Christian males who discovered, explored, pioneered, settled and developed the greatest Republic in the history of mankind.

A coalition of Blacks, Latinos, Feminists, Gays, Government Workers, Union Members, Environmental Extremists, The Media, Hollywood, uninformed young people, the "forever needy," the chronically unemployed, illegal aliens and other "fellow travelers" have ended Norman Rockwell's America.

The Cocker Spaniel is off the front porch... The Pit Bull is in the back yard. The American Constitution has been replaced with Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" and Chicago shyster, David Axelrod, along with international Socialist George Soros will be pulling the strings on their beige puppet to bring us Act 2 of the New World Order.

Our side ran two candidates who couldn't even win their own home states, and Chris Christie helped Obama over the top with a glowing "post Sandy" tribute that elevated the "Commander-in-Chief" to Mother Teresa status. (Aside: with the way the polls were run, he didn't need any help!)

People like me are completely politically irrelevant, and I will never again comment on or concern myself with the aforementioned coalition which has surrendered our culture, our heritage and our traditions without a shot being fired.

You will never again out-vote these people. It will take individual acts of defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to get back the rights we have allowed them to take away. It will take Zealots, not moderates & shy not reach-across-the-aisle RINOs to right this ship and restore our beloved country to its former status.

Those who come after us will have to risk their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the Republic that this generation has timidly frittered away due to "white guilt" and political correctness... An American Veteran......... Semper-Fi

So, who is this supposed USMC Vet? Why no name? Probably written by someone who's just bitter and never in the service.

While we are celebrating PA natives I'll add my two cents. As a former Marine I see nothing racist about the OP. We fought to protect the right of everyone in this country to have his say and his place. You do not have to agree with the writer. You don't even have to like him. If you have a position you are in favor of then someone else has a right to disagree. He is correct about "political correctness" destroying this country. You foster the idea that any discontent with the current administration is racist. I say that is pure crap. The President of the United States is too important to represent a specific race and yet when criticized his supporters immediately run up the race flag.

Open your eyes and look at what is being done. The administration decides unilaterally which laws it will enforce and which laws it will ignore. Both sides do it with impunity. We the people are the victims here. We the people of all races and economic stations are the victims. When Obama became President he gave up his race. He is the man responsible for the current world we live in. Don't give me crap about Bush either. Obama was hired to fix the problem and he has been a failure.

Djen all you do is display your ignorance. Do some research and find out who and what the Tea Party is. Hint: there is no registered political party called the Tea Party.

Comparing this Americans rant of discontent to the Nazis is a disrespect to your great-grandfather and his traditions.

Thanx for tracking this down, Papa. He caught a lot of flack and now is backtracking. Wonder if he'll be reelected?

There's hope for Montana yet...
