"Checking it out" is a very difficult problem.... there are multitudes of sites on the net that have "opinions" Pro and Con.. some are obvious RABID pro or Con and then some are, at least as much as we can determine, legitimate...

I have put a URL on here which seems to be a very honest appraisal which shows this mans opinions of what has been done good and what has been done or not done bad...

My only interaction with the subject is a Grand Son who came home from 3 tours in Iraq, Being Blown out of a HumVee by an IED and thrown into a brick wall and having received the "Army Commendation Medal with Valor" His Action Alone and Under heavy fire, saved the lives of 17 of his comrades in arms....

Upon his return home approximately 8 years ago, with a serious case of PTSD and a Back, permanently damaged by the explosion he went through....Has Spent over 6 years trying to get (1) help with PTSD (2) Help With Back Injury and (3) to receive the disability he was owed. He now must drive over 200mi round trip to have further evaluation of the progress that is being made in #1 and #2 above.... There is a facility less than 30miles from where he lives that could take care of this... BUT in its infinite wisdom, our Government has decided that he must drive the 200mi instead...

Mike - Please extend my gratitude to your Grand Son for his sacrifice for us here at home. He certainly deserves better than what he's receiving. I speak with veterans all the time and the overwhelming majority disagree with Nick's assessment of how the Obama administration is handling their affairs.

As a WWII Army Air Force vet, I want to expose this sickening rascist diatribe's fallacies. The real Norman Rockwell images of America should be posted on his lawn so he can see how wrong he is, especially the iconic "Four Freedoms" paintings. Every point this ex-Marine expressed was a keystone in the Nazi bible of hatred, and to see it echoed by a member of the American armed forces is a head-turner. His view of the Constitution apparently wants to erase all of the amendments to the original document, which would include the the first 10 known as the Bill of Rights, and -- of course -- the abolishment of slavery, the right of women to vote, and everything to do with government regulations. When he writes "our" culture, "our" heritage, "our" traditions he really means his culture, his heritage, his traditions. I'm sure his minority group [he admits it's a minority group, but so were the Nazis when they took over Germany in 1933 with the same loud claims] believes they are justified in their prejudices. But I for one will not remain silent and let this kind of foul rhetoric pass unchallenged! My great-grandfather fought for the Union in the Civil War, together with his three brothers. I'm proud to follow in his tradition.

Another high-five! His thinking makes me believe that our education system really is failing!
