Time is like a river. You cannot touch the water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again.

Written by a USMC Vet. (I can't argue with any of it. Passing it along as it was received.)

He wrote:

The American Dream ended (on November 6th, 2012) in Ohio. The second term of Barack Obama will be the final nail in the coffin for the legacy of the white Christian males who discovered, explored, pioneered, settled and developed the greatest Republic in the history of mankind.

A coalition of Blacks, Latinos, Feminists, Gays, Government Workers, Union Members, Environmental Extremists, The Media, Hollywood, uninformed young people, the "forever needy," the chronically unemployed, illegal aliens and other "fellow travelers" have ended Norman Rockwell's America.

The Cocker Spaniel is off the front porch... The Pit Bull is in the back yard. The American Constitution has been replaced with Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" and Chicago shyster, David Axelrod, along with international Socialist George Soros will be pulling the strings on their beige puppet to bring us Act 2 of the New World Order.

Our side ran two candidates who couldn't even win their own home states, and Chris Christie helped Obama over the top with a glowing "post Sandy" tribute that elevated the "Commander-in-Chief" to Mother Teresa status. (Aside: with the way the polls were run, he didn't need any help!)

People like me are completely politically irrelevant, and I will never again comment on or concern myself with the aforementioned coalition which has surrendered our culture, our heritage and our traditions without a shot being fired.

You will never again out-vote these people. It will take individual acts of defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to get back the rights we have allowed them to take away. It will take Zealots, not moderates & shy not reach-across-the-aisle RINOs to right this ship and restore our beloved country to its former status.

Those who come after us will have to risk their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the Republic that this generation has timidly frittered away due to "white guilt" and political correctness... An American Veteran......... Semper-Fi

Time is like a river. You cannot touch the water ... (show quote)

As a WWII Army Air Force vet, I want to expose this sickening rascist diatribe's fallacies. The real Norman Rockwell images of America should be posted on his lawn so he can see how wrong he is, especially the iconic "Four Freedoms" paintings. Every point this ex-Marine expressed was a keystone in the Nazi bible of hatred, and to see it echoed by a member of the American armed forces is a head-turner. His view of the Constitution apparently wants to erase all of the amendments to the original document, which would include the the first 10 known as the Bill of Rights, and -- of course -- the abolishment of slavery, the right of women to vote, and everything to do with government regulations. When he writes "our" culture, "our" heritage, "our" traditions he really means his culture, his heritage, his traditions. I'm sure his minority group [he admits it's a minority group, but so were the Nazis when they took over Germany in 1933 with the same loud claims] believes they are justified in their prejudices. But I for one will not remain silent and let this kind of foul rhetoric pass unchallenged! My great-grandfather fought for the Union in the Civil War, together with his three brothers. I'm proud to follow in his tradition.

Thank you, Dljen. I'm an old Allentown High grad and went straight from high school into the AAF and 6 months later to Europe. I saw the results of this kind of rascist, anti-semitic, anti-academic thinking and also the problems caused by the hesitancy of responsible people to respond to it. I don't expect the author of that diatribe to change his mind, but I want him to know that this man has a spine.

That's how we native PA's roll, Richard! :)

I read it before, I think on here too, and the only difference was that he said he was only going to have his say and not discuss it again. I respect veterans but they are only ppl and can have their opinions. I also don't respect this veteran because I found his opinion very decisive.

di·a·tribe noun \ˈdī-ə-ˌtrīb\

: an angry and usually long speech or piece of writing that strongly criticizes someone or something
Full Definition of DIATRIBE

1 archaic : a prolonged discourse

2 a bitter and abusive speech or piece of writing

3 ironic or satirical criticism

The writer still has freedom of speech. Your diatribe cancels his diatribe. Let the commotion begin.
