Never a problem with the SD card. However, I do upload to computer that days photo's.
Never lost a photo due to faulty card.
SD, no. I have lost files on a CF.
I have never lost pictures from my Sandisk cards but I have 6 and download to my computer, upload to my printing service, print all the pictures I want, then they are stored in my online printing service so far for a couple of years, now since 2010 since I started printing online, and have many photo albums. Life is good

Never lost a single file from a memory card.
Neither have I.
I do stick with SanDisk or Lexar cards, have a bunch of them anywhere between 2 and 16 GB for the camera, and a 32 GB for the camcorder (although I have to use the cord and plug it in, as the battery will only give me an hour and a 32 GB gives me 2 hours ;)

I've seen quite a few posts about people losing stuff due to SD cards going bad, corrupting.. etc... since I have been a member here... and I feel for all of them. That would be awful.
I want to first start with this just to keep me safe.. "Knock on wood"... lol
I have never lost anything from an SD card (I do backups a lot, but that's irrelevant if the SD card doesn't work to begin with when inserted into your computer). How many of you have never lost anything due to an SD card going bad?... literally nothing...ever?
I've never had a problem yet. Wondering how many of you have literally never had an SD card problem that caused you to lose files. I'm hoping a lot of you.

I have never lost a single file from an SD card, nor a CF card. But I have had to recover files from customers cards, and each and every time they were generic or non-branded cards. Usually with much smaller actual capacities than were printed on those cards. Stick with the name brands from reputable sources.
Thanks for all the replies. It's nice to see so many of you have not lost files from an SD card failure. I never though about including CF cards. I've never used one, but it's nice to know they seem dependable also for nearly all of you. All my cards are SanDisk also, and I will be sure to use nothing that is not of a high quality or brand.
I shoot weddings, and it would be awful for me to ever lose those images.
Thanks for all the posts, and hope to hear that even more of you have never lost a file from an SD or CF card... :-), or if so, what were the circumstances??
Never such bad luck for me
Never have 'lost' an image or file from an SD card, HOWEVER, I have had a couple go bad and was not able to 'format' them after downloading, so I just threw them out and replaced with new ones.

I've never lost a file because everything was backed up.
I've lost a card from a computer crash while reformatting, and lost a USB drive when I threw my keys with the drive on it. Other than that, they are very reliable - I have one in everything including my old Kodak collection. I even have an old USB 1GB drive which actually has a miniature hard drive in it, and it still works.

Nope, not a problem with a total of 4 cameras over 4 years and previously an olympus that i seem to remember took their own little cards.

Never had a failure with SD or Cf Card. I use Sansisk, Lexar and P&Y.
Never for me, but I have only been shooting since March.
