Another baby Robin has left the nest with just one remaining!

I am starting to feel lonely... I miss them already! :(

Canon 40D DSLR - 70-200mm L lens - Handheld/braced - ISO 1000 - 1/125th @ f/5.6 - Cloudy Bright with shading from the overhead and surrounding tree limbs

Thinking about leaving

Thanks Dixiegirl...

The last baby Robin has gone now... I just haven't posted it yet. I was thinking about posting several photos of the series in one post so everyone can more clearly see the growth of the baby robins and how attentive their parents were.

That sounds like a great idea, Bruce. By the way, the photo of the mother shielding the babies from the rain would make a perfect Mother's Day card.

I just meant a little book from Blurb or one of the other book publishers. It would be charming and you might never get to photograph such a sequence again..it was very special!

Thanks again Nessguide...

Have you ever wrote for "Blurb or one of the other book publishers"? If so, what is the process?

I have tried three companies and like Blurb. They are out of California and if you Google them there is a ton of info..Basically you download their package which includes templates(or you can design your own layout)',types of books..hard,soft cover, size etc..,and step by step instructions. It is very easy..too long to explain but give them a look and good luck. Their prices and shipping charges are there too...

Bruce, I have enjoyed your daily posts of the robin eggs, parents tender care and their growing up to be independent and taking flight. You are just like their best uncle--documenting it all, smiling behind the camera, and sad to see it go. Life's circle.
I think the book idea is great. the robins have been so well documented. there are several sites out there that allow you to create your own, as Nessguidle says.
