A wonderful trip- land based, beautiful reefs, tons of color and abundant fish life. Wishing I could take the plunge right now!

Welcome, Brian. Nice photos all, but I really love the fishing boat. Motivated me to do a Google search. The boat was apparently dragged ashore by the previous landowner with the intent to fix it up. Never happened.

By the way, the colors and details in the boat photo remind me of Andrew Wyeth's paintings...

Thanks! You’ve given the photo a great backstory. Much appreciated!

Very cool! What are #2 and #3?

We occasionally had cuttlefish when I volunteered at the National Zoo (Invertebrate Exhibit) in the late 1980's. Made me want to spend several hundred dollars for a salt water aquarium.

Hi-
Thanks!
#2 is the doto greenamyeri nudibranch. it was referred to as the donut nudibranch...
#3 is called a whip coral shrimp

sometimes they are extremely hard to see as they are masters of camouflage...

Here are a few photos taken while aboard the Arenui in August 2019. Canon 5dMIV, 100mm macro inside Nauticam housing and Sea & Sea Strobes. Hope you enjoy...

The first one is a candy crab
100mm canon lens. Was only the second time I had used that set up. Indonesia is without a doubt my favorite dive destination to date, with a Philippines a close second.

I will post some wide angle shots from that trip shortly...

Looking into upgrading my Sealife to my 7D as it gives me way better aperature and shutter speed control, plus larger sensor. I have a 17-40 lens that I'd like to use. Ikelite is used by others I dive with and seems to be more affordable than some of the other brands and I've heard no complaints. Also, the dual 161 strobes are large, but offer great lighting. Are you wanting to sell your equipment? If so, what do you have?

Thanks

I am. I have the following:

7d ikelite housing
2 DS161 video strobes with batteries and chargers
Ultra light tube strobe arms
Large fish eye port
Smaller dome port (5503 with 5510.11 extension ring)
Flat port for 60mm macro lens
Two sync cords
Zoom clamp rings (2)
Pelican 1510 hard case.

Are you looking for a complete system?

Look forward to hearing back from you.

Anyone looking to sell used equipment? Posted in classified as well, but this is more specific.

Actually, I am- I have a pair of DS-161 strobes along with an Ikelite housing for a Canon 7D, ports, and tons of accessories-

What are you looking for, in particular?

Welcome aboard Brian. Enjoy topside photography. Save on tank refills. Tour last boat image belongs in a fine art gallery.

Thank you!

Thanks! Just figuring out how very heavy super telephoto lenses are without the water's effect on gravity!
